Jen Fuller lives right here in Sausalito and has been paddling since 2009. She has been an elite level paddler for most of those years and is dedicated to helping people paddle with great success Her background in human mechanics and movement give her a very strong eye for what a person needs to work on and how to change patterns that may get in your way later. She has taught hundreds of people how to Stand -Up Paddle successfully and safely. We have a very flexible program where you can get one on one session, or in small (2 to 3) or medium group (4 to 6). Gear is included and you will pick your days and times. It will be arranged directly with Jen.
We have also put together a training and workout program where you will train for the next race or stay in great shape. SUP training is a fantastic workout. Gear is optional, you can bring yours or rent/demo from us. Days and times are fixed.
I love teaching beginners as well as intermediate and advanced paddlers. There is always something to learn and improve on, especially since the sport of SUP is new and expanding. Learning good habits and the basics of paddle stroke and board handling from the very beginning will set you up for more fun and success as you advance in your abilities.
Stand up paddling keeps growing in the numbers of people, places and equipment. I will help you be more efficient, increase your fitness level, and keep you from getting injured due to unhelpful patterns. Equipment education is important too because the kind of board and paddle can vary depending on where you are going to paddle, as well as your goals. These aspects are all factored into your learning experience.

Workout & Training SUP Program
The trainings will be in blocks of 4 to 6 sessions in a row. Whether you are just beginning or have experience you can follow along at your own pace. This can be a training paddle or simply a fitness workout. I guarantee you will learn something new at each session.
Whether you want to paddle to race or just be in great shape this class is for you.

What to expect: We will start with some alignment and strength/balance exercises for 10 min and then immediately paddle. Each training will have a purpose and focus.
What to Bring: It can be varying temperatures here in Sausalito so please bring layers. For warmth I recommend light merino wool or some type of insulating layer, light windbreaker. Clearly with warmer weather shorts, etc. Sneakers for pre-exercises, and sandals to cross the street.

SUP Lessons & Training
SUP rental includes board, paddle, leash and PFD (Portable Flotation Device). Wearing a PFD and a leash are mandatory.
