Canadian surfer Pete Devries is featured in the latest issue of Yüth Magazine.
“The first time Pete Devries saw someone ride a wave, it wasn’t through a glossy surf mag or grainy VHS tape. It was his dad, carving through cold Pacific peelers in front of their house on Chesterman Beach. Tofino wasn’t the surf town it is now- just a wild edge-of-the-world place where surfing felt more like an adventure than a sport. And for a kid like Pete, it was just part of the backdrop: the ocean, the beach, his dad disappearing into grey waves.”
